The idea

A simple game.
A world of its own.

Catch falling cheese. Dodge the junk. Build a towering grilled cheese, then pull it apart to reveal your score. Stack Attack starts with an easy-to-understand action and builds a complete character-led experience around it.

The project connects visual identity, character artwork, interface design, animation, sound, and app development. Every part belongs to the same playful kitchen world.

Character design

Meet the kitchen crew.

Three distinct personalities, united by expressive faces, bold outlines, and a shared visual language. Each character has its own reactions and music in the game.

Personality in play

Feedback with a face.

Ready, celebrating, or reacting to a bad catch: character expressions make the game’s feedback part of its personality.

Gameplay & interface

Easy to pick up.
Hard to put down.

The screen keeps the essentials in view: your stack, your score, and the Yuck Meter. Classic and Cozy modes give players two different paces without changing the core idea.

Stack Attack gameplay adapted to a portrait iPhone display

Designed around the device

Small screen.
Full experience.

Portrait and landscape layouts adapt the kitchen, controls, and score display to the available space. The iPhone and iPad build combines touch movement with on-screen directional controls.

Play at your pace

Classic and Cozy modes, unlimited retries, and separate best scores.

Keep the experience personal

Saved character selection, local scores, and separate music and effects controls.

Keep playing offline

Core gameplay and bundled artwork and audio work without a connection.

The payoff

Make the finish
worth reaching.

A stretchy cheese pull reveals the sandwich score. It turns a result screen into a moment that feels connected to the game, with a clear next step back into play.
